While doing some spring cleaning in my hard Drive, I found this classic Production Design project of this Bain De’ Soleil Tanning Cream Tv Commercial I made, circa 1995 with my ACME ART Dept. We made the costume for this spot!

It was shot in the British Virgin Islands, and I got to crate it up and go with a plus 1! The mermaid tail & brazier was made of latex molding and hand sewn decorated with oversized opalescent and organized sequins as fish scales by my entire ACME Art crew in the day! Even the carpenters and scenic all got in on the tail detail.

Special thanks to Bill Lance who aided in this Cinderella Of The Sea come to life and he was my plus 1 to the British Virgin Islands!

I've had a luxuriously extravagant and exciting career thus far, yet I still haven't done my best work yet because it is with you! My POPOLOGIST® Ambassadors!

Peter Gabriel is an English singer-songwriter, musician, record producer, and humanitarian activist. He rose to fame as the original lead singer of the progressive rock band Genesis. After leaving Genesis in 1975, he launched a successful solo career with "Solsbury Hill" as his first single. His fifth studio album, So (1986), is his best-selling release and is certified triple platinum in the UK and five times platinum in the US.

one of my all time fav songs~~sledge hammer~

"Sledgehammer" is a song by English rock musician Peter Gabriel. It was released in April 1986 as the lead single from his fifth studio album, So (1986). It was produced by Gabriel and Daniel Lanois. It reached No. 1 in Canada on 21 July 1986, where it spent four weeks; No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in the United States on 26 July 1986; and No. 4 on the UK Singles Chart, thanks in part to its music video. It was his biggest hit in North America and ties with "Games Without Frontiers" as his biggest hit in the United Kingdom.

the song has been described as dance-rock, funk rock and soul. Ryan Reed of Paste called the song a danceable "blue-eyed soul-strut". Trouser Press gave it as an example of Gabriel's "characteristically sophisticated music" which in this case "touches on funk". The song also features a synthesised shakuhachi flute generated with an E-mu Emulator II sampler. Gabriel said the "cheap organ sound" comes from an expensive Prophet-5 synth, which he regards as "an old warhorse" sound tool.

The music video for "Sledgehammer" was directed by Stephen R. Johnson and won nine MTV Video Music Awards in 1987, including Video of the Year, Best Direction, Best Cinematography, Best Art Direction, Best Editing, Best Special Effects, Best Choreography, and Best Overall Performance. It is considered one of the greatest music videos of all time.

The song's lyrics are about the power of music and the importance of imagination. Gabriel has said that the song is about "the power of art to change the world".

"Sledgehammer" is a classic song that has stood the test of time. It is a catchy, danceable song with a positive message. The song's music video is also a masterpiece of creativity and innovation. "Sledgehammer" is a reminder that music can be both fun and meaningful. has won numerous awards, including 10 Grammy Awards, a Brit Award, and a Golden Globe Award. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Genesis in 2010. He was also awarded the Polar Music Prize in 2006.
