Souls of Mischief: Still Chillin' from 93 'til Infinity

Souls of Mischief is a hip hop group from Oakland, California, that is also part of the hip hop collective Hieroglyphics. The group formed in 1991 and is composed of rappers A-Plus, Opio, Phesto, and Tajai.

The members of Souls of Mischief met in elementary school and began rapping together in high school. They released their debut album, 93 'til Infinity, in 1993. The album was a critical and commercial success, and it is considered one of the greatest hip hop albums of all time.


Souls of Mischief's music is known for its laid-back, jazzy sound and its introspective lyrics. The group's songs often deal with themes of spirituality, consciousness, and the human condition.

Souls of Mischief has released five studio albums, two compilation albums, and one EP. They have also collaborated with a number of other artists, including Del the Funky Homosapien, DJ Shadow, and Blackalicious.
