He holds a bachelor in media arts and a masters in Education with an emphasis of integrating technology and the fine arts within the California State Art Guidelines. A two time worldwide performance haiku champion who has performed globally, led numerous empowering educational workshops and residencies, and published author of his works.

Tazuo Yamaguchi, MA is a multiple disciplined multi-media artist who has worked with world class entertainment and high tech companies such as Lucasfilm LTD. Microsoft Corporation, Apple Computers and many more. He has several undergraduate degrees in communication technology and learning psychology. A masters in the Education with an emphasis of fine arts and multi-media technology as a vehicle for learning. He has worked nationally for Major Universities, K-12 schools, and social organizations implementing education through the arts.

He is the award grantee of many Hi-tech companies and art council grants from IBM, AT&T, Butte County of Education, and most recently Upstate California Creative Corps, California Arts Council. Where He collaborates with his wife Cheryl Yamaguchi creating art experiences in all disciplines for all ages to experience of art to give us all self-knowledge and public health recovering from any and life’s traumas.

i have a bachelor of the arts in communication and multimedia technology and a masters of the arts in education and the fine arts - i have over 30 years experience as a working professional painter illustrator and performance poet - i have managed and run my own studio and performance business so i am very tech savvy and very experienced with administrative tasks |
i exhibit worldwide my painted and illustrated works through live online streams and videos i worked with many educational organizations in the north state from classroom performances and workshops to running poetry events at butte college and teaching at chico state. i have also worked with organizations like glenn county mental health running art and poetry workshops for parents and children. i have run several independent performance poetry classes with youth for several years. |
i am very adversed my professional skills as an artist - i can teach grades 1-3 the art of expression and beginner drawing through traditional mediums such as graphite and colored pencil. i can teach grades 3-6 more advanced painting and drawing from traditional watercolor and ink to digital painting. i also enjoy working with teenagers with illustration comics and sequential storytelling art - from traditional to multimedia digital art (painting illustration animation movie making). i also am very experienced at teaching creative writing, storytelling and performance poetry. i can work with grades 1-3 in the expression of sound and the beginning of short poems - grades 3-6 creative writing storytelling and performance poetry - teenagers i can teach creative writing for career - storytelling (for movies game development) and performed poetry |
